The contractor was tasked by the end customer to inspect and renovate a pipeline at a tank terminal. The pipeline showed signs of wear, and replacing the worn components required precise engineering and strict inspections. We delivered a comprehensive solution combining inspection, 3D scanning, and engineering. The team began with a detailed 3D scan of the pipeline layout, mapping all existing pipeline sections and cut lines with pinpoint accuracy. We then thoroughly inspected the weld points for laminations to prevent errors during the welding of new sections. Using this data, we developed a 3D model and engineering package, including drawings and, where necessary, stress calculations. This enabled the contractor to proceed safely and accurately without requiring additional inspections.
